Coming Soon.........

Later this week I will be having a giveaway!!!! Stay tuned!

Scripture Time

Psalm 24:

1 The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the waters.

We have such a reassurance in knowing this! EVERYTHING is the Lords!

Father~ Thank you for your truths. Thank you that we can have a relationship with you. In your name Amen!

Scripture Time

Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Soccer

Stretching before the game! He has a great coach, who's actually teaching them some fundamentals.

Every time a goal was kicked Zeke would climb in to get the ball!

These 2 pictures are just to show you how cold it was. It was raining and it didn't feel like August. Do you see the people in the background wearing blankets? Titus had blue lips by the time we left!

Scripture Time

Psalm 22
4 In you our fathers put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.
5 They cried to you and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not disappointed.

9 Yet you brought me out of the womb;
you made me trust in you
even at my mother's breast.
10 From birth I was cast upon you;
from my mother's womb you have been my God.

I would recommend taking the time to read all of chapter 22. These are a few of my favorites. I love seeing the past generations having faith, it's also such a reassurance to see they trusted and weren't disappointed. I don't think that means they didn't have disappointments, just that they knew who they were trusting in. He's been our God from the womb. I think you have to choose salvation, but he's always there waiting for us.

Father~ Thank you for comfort we can find in you word. Thank you for everything you've given us. We may not have as much as someone else but your word says you shall supply all our needs. Help us to remember our needs are separate from our wants. In your name Amen.

Scripture Time

Psalm 21
2 You have granted him the desire of his heart
and have not withheld the request of his lips.
Selah

I love that we have a Father that will give us the desires of our heart. Even if we don't get what we ask for he listens to us, and we are able to ask him for anything.

Father~ Thank you for renewal. Thank you for listening to us and giving us what we need. Thank you for the many blessings you give us. In your name Amen

A couple of things......

I'm sorry that I haven't been real regular lately. I've been busy trying to keep up with life! I'm sure you can all relate! I guess I'm not good at getting everything done. I'm glad that if I'm going to let something slip it's this! I have figured a few things out: It's very important to me that I keep my house clean. I have a huge sense of peace when my house is in order, so I've been making it a priority! I've also realized that I tend to have a lot of LAZY tendencies, but they really don't fit with what I want out of life so I'm working really hard to keep working. I try not to sit down until the evening. School is also a priority, I want my kids to love to learn and to have fun at it. I'll just say we are still working on this!!!! I'm doing good at getting it done, but my kids haven't gotten their part down yet!

Lastly, I started this blog for one reason and one reason only, my daily walk with God. I have really let that slip and I'm hoping to get it back on track. I've never been the christian that I want to be or that I should be. I have a really hard time reading the word everyday, I let just about anything come between God and I. I'm ashamed to admit it, but it's true, I'm very spiritually immature. I know I need to make God first in my life, but it's something I have a hard time with. I would covet all your prayers at this time and also any advice you have on making the Lord first in my life. Thank you all!

Here is a picture of Zeke at his first soccer game from this weekend!

Keep your eyes on the road!

You may be wondering if I'm giving you driving advice or if I've just lost my mind completely? It's neither one, well maybe the 2nd one a little! We went for a walk last night and on the way back home I was looking ahead at someones house. I saw a for sale sign and was trying to figure out whose house it was that was for sale. The road curves and drops off a bit here......well I'm sure you can figure out what I'm going to say! I fell off the edge and twisted my ankle! I wanted to ask Mark a question about the house, so I yelled Mark, when he turned around I was on the ground! Mark said he was trying to figure out why I was sitting on the ground! Oh I'm still laughing just thinking about it! I really hope no one saw me! I'm sure if anyone did see it they laughed at me! I'm very thankful that I was able to walk home!
So my advice is to keep your eyes on the road! I learned my lesson, don't be nosy!!!!
Whens the last time something embarrassing happened to you? Don't tell me I'm the only clutz!
