Psalm 35: 9-10
9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.

It's almost been a week since we gathered together for my sister and brother-in-law's birthday parties. They decided to eat fondue!!! I'm not going to lie to you I don't like it. It makes me want to puke! I enjoy the meal, just not the food. (does that make sense?) I stick with the fresh veggies and bread dipped in cheese sauce!!!! Here's a few pictures to enjoy!

To be able to have the adversity that Job had,but still praise God, WOW! I love the story of Job. I pray that if I'm met with adversity I respond like Job and PRAISE GOD!
Well I think I was smacked upside the head today! I was rocking Reuben and all of a sudden a verse came into my head (proverbs 20:11) then another. (proverbs 3:5-6) We have sing A to Z scripture songs (I'm not sure that's the exact title) both of those are on the CD we have. ( I know that part of the reason these popped into my head is because I was singing to Reuben.) Well this prompted me to recite every verse I could remember, not nearly as many as I'd like. That's when I think the Lord smacked me and gave me this idea. Every Monday (and yes I know today is Wednesday!) I will post a new verse. My kids and I will be working to memorize it the whole week, please join me!

Friday was one of those days where you just want to scream,cry, or run away!!! I'm sure none of you ever have days like that! Zeke needed punishment and wasn't willing to take it, so after a nice long stay in his room he finally took it! (YES you could say he's a little bit on the stubborn side!!) During this time Brie finished her school and went to work making a tent! She had lots of fun in here and even had her lunch in it! (The picture of Zeke is him being upset because he couldn't have something he wanted til after his punishment!)

Well our garden didn't do that great this year. I don't do well when I have a newborn. (or at least that's the excuse I'm using!) We did get some produce, but not hardly! We are fortunate that we have family that seem to end up with good gardens. I had to show you these pictures of potatoes. The HUGE one is from my il's (fil,mil,sil,bil) garden, the other one is from ours! Lets just say that we need manure, BAD!

I love that he enjoys my cooking. I have some pretty big flops sometimes,but he still encourages me and will eat it anyways. Even when it's not the greatest he'll take it for leftovers. Because I love him I try my hardest to have a yummy healthy meal on the table when he arrives home!

We had to get a new camera a week ago, because ours completely died. I've really enjoyed using our new camera. My sister is an amazing photographer, I wish she would teach me everything she knows. (hint hint!) I've learned a lot just from watching her, she does weird angles and all kinds of fun things. (things I never would've thought of!) She told me about this site, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Here are some pictures I've taken lately, with some fun effects added!

It's been a long time since I joined in, but hopefully I can keep up with it now! The thing I love is Gods word. I love that he loves us enough to give us our own instruction book. I also love that i still have the freedom to read the bible anytime, anywhere. I know this might not always be the case. While it is the case I need to be reading it and read it as much as possible so that I can hide His word in my heart in case the day does come when His word isn't here. Have a great day!

4 One thing I ask of the LORD,

I just love verse 4 especially. That is the prayer of my heart. What an awesome verse.

Well I found a great product!
OK I'm going to share more info with you than you may want to hear!! I've had problems finding a deodorant that works. They always leave me feeling less than fresh, sometimes downright stinky! I switched several years ago to baking soda mixed with lotion. It worked pretty well, but wasn't all that nice on the skin. After I had Reuben I felt the need to try something else. I had heard people talk about the crystal rock deodorants, so I decided to try it. Well I did and I LOVE it!
It's supposed to last for around a year. I've had mine for a little over a month, and it still looks great! You still sweat, but it takes care of the odor.
My husband tried them and didn't like that it didn't stop the sweating. He did say that he would be able to use it, just something to get use to.
Crystal, the company, has several great things available on their website. Be sure to check them out! When I talked with the company I was blessed to be able to deal with a fellow believer!

Today 37 years ago these 2 people joined their lives together before God. The Lord has blessed them greatly. They have 3 (6 w/ spouses!) children who love the Lord and 13 grandchildren. At least 5 of those grand kids have also given their heart to Jesus. In a world where marriage is temporary it's a blessing to have parents who believe biblical truths. Their marriage is til death do them part. Thanks for instilling the right values in us, we love you! Enjoy your day!
