Clowns and Pirates

 Do you have a fear?  I'm sure you do, doesn't everyone???   I'm going to share my greatest fear!!!  (OK, maybe not my greatest!)


I am scared of clowns, like REALLY scared.  I don't know when it happened or how it happened...but it happened!  When I was a little girl I had a couple of clown dolls, that I loved.  It  makes no sense, I can't figure out when my adoration turned into fear.  If I see a clown in public I just freeze, and look for the quickest way to escape.
My kids of course know that I'm afraid of clowns, even little Reuben makes an effort to protect me.  If he sees a clown he will tell me to look away, isn't he sweet! 
Brie decided to have a little fun, and made up the boys.  Reuben was a clown and Titus a pirate!  Thankfully he doesn't look like a clown!  I would hate to be scared of this little sweetheart!!  

The eyes weren't enough, she decided to add a beard...

(They both just started with the eyes, then got beards later!)

Titus and his best pirate face!  (Can you hear the arr?)  He has to practice for later in life when he becomes a pirate!!

After such a "scary" day, this was the perfect ending!
